Who's Your Daddy?

Hey everyone! Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve written a blog post, huh? Sometimes life just kind of gets in the way, amiright? Of course I am!

Anyway...a few weeks ago on my IG, I posted some baby-puppy pictures of me with my womb-mates (that’s what I call the other two pups who were born at the same time that I was). If you look at those pics closely, you’ll notice we look nothing alike. I mean, check this out (that’s me on the right...and I think it’s my sister on the left):

Of course, I guess some of you might not think we look all that different from each other, since we are just teeny-tiny puppies…but then look at these pictures from after we got bigger:

Seriously, WHAT is going on here? How is it possible that three dogs from the same litter can look so completely different? Well, being the information-seeking little lady that I am, I decided to do some research. And guess what? As it turns out, even though we were all born to the same mommy…we probably each have a DIFFERENT DADDY!

I know it sounds crazy, but it’s true: Puppies from the same litter can all be fathered by different dogs if the mommy dog…um…gets with those different fathers within a relatively short timeframe.
