Toy Story

Hey everyone! Guess what? There are only 93 shopping days until Christmas and 91 shopping days until the first night of Hanukkah (my family celebrates both—how about you?). You know what that means for cute puppies like me?

TOYS!

I got so many great toys last December. I was excited because I was still a teeny-tiny puppy and—as I'm sure you probably know—PUPPIES LOVE TOYS. The best part was how fuzzy they were, and how much they squeaked. Have you ever wondered why dogs love toys that are soft and/or squeaky? According to the American Kennel Club (can you tell that's my favorite place to do research?), it's because dogs like toys that resemble prey.

Of course, some puppies and dogs like toys they can chew or toys they can chase or toys they can pull on. Personally? I LOVE THEM ALL! But at the moment, if I had to choose, I'd say my favorites are the hide-a-thingy ones—especially this one that looks like a rainbow piñata and has candy inside (if only the candy were real...and chicken-flavored, amiright? Of course I am!):
